As the president of football club Paris St-Germain and the chairman of beIN Media Group and Miramax, Khelaifi had at his disposal the persuasive power of sports, media and entertainment to enhance global awareness on virus-mitigation, personal hygiene and safe practices to beat the COVID-19 transmission. WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Tuesday said he had a "very production call with Paris St-Germain President and beIN Media Group and Miramx Chairman Nasser al Khelaifi of Qatar on assitance towards the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic. "I had a very productive call with Nasser al Khelaifi, of @PSG_inside, @beINSPORTS & @Miramax, on his commitment to helping @WHO win the global fight against #coronavirus.
